Yunnan Luxin Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise which is legally established in China, and engaged in the production of industrial hemp extract.

In January 2019, Yunnan Luxin received the Industrial Hemp Planting License of Yunnan Province issued by Qujing Public Security Bureau, Zhanyi Branch, and invested to build an industrial hemp extraction and separation base in Yunnan. It will extract and separate a non-psychoactive ingredient called cannabinol (CBD) which is more active and beneficial to health from the industrial hemp, and CBD has been widely applied to currently many industries, e.g. medicine, food, health, beauty, etc.

ABOUT HEMP

The Cannabis plant family is composed of two primary classifications — Sativa and Indica. While Cannabis can be considered a member of either the Indica or Sativa families, Hemp is a member of the Cannabis Sativa family.

Hemp likely originated in Central Asia. Cultivation for fibre was recorded in China as early as 2800 BCE and was practiced in Europe early in the Christian era, spreading throughout the entirety of Europe during the Middle Ages. Hemp made its way to Chile in the 1500’s and a century later in North America.
